Theatrical Productions

At East End Theatre & Performing Arts, we offer four theatre programs, each catering to different age groups and interests. Read on to learn more!

What is it?

New in 2023, the First Act program is designed to provide a recreational, non-competitive platform for younger children to be involved with theatre in an environment where the stakes & commitment are both lower than what is required for our Junior Stage program. The First Act program is intended as a “first step” in a continuum that performers can move along as their skills & experience grow. Our age range for this program is 6-12.

How can I participate?

Our Junior Stage program produces professional-quality children’s musicals. Casts typically range in age from middle school to grade 10. Each production is staffed by East End contractors, who have years of experience in their field, and is performed in a rented proscenium theater. Click here to see what we are currently working on.

What is it?

Continuing education is valued at East End Theatre & Performing Arts, and we are proud that our arts education offerings don't stop at grade 12! Our Your Stage program provides a semi-professional platform for college students to direct and produce their own projects, under the mentorship of East End leaders. Your Stage provides "real work experience" that can be used to build a resume, stimulate creatives, and so much more. Your Stage projects can range from dramas to intensives to cultural performances or original scripts. Auditions for Your Stage shows are open to the public and auditioner age groups project-dependent.
